Nigro & Nigro Careers
We are always looking to add to our renowned in-house team. When Jeff & Elizabeth Nigro founded the firm, it was based on the philosophy that life should come first, not work. That philosophy continues today with all of our current employees being able to maintain a healthy balance between their personal lives and their professional accounting jobs. Simply due to the nature of providing services to such a wide array of clients, we occasionally have to work overtime; however, our generous allotment of paid time-off recognizes your efforts.

In addition to challenging and varied work assignments, we offer you a place where you are recognized as a unique individual. We are large enough to meet our clients’ needs, but small enough so that we meet each of our employees’ needs as well. We strive to achieve a high level of camaraderie through summer company picnics, parties, and other informal outings throughout the year. In a recent survey, our employees rated “the people I work with” as one of the top reasons for their job satisfaction.
Always Looking for New Talent
Please see our open positions below. We are often asked if we offer internship opportunities for accounting jobs. If we feel a student is a good fit for our firm, we will work out a schedule that provides that person an opportunity to gain work experience while completing their degree. The goal is always to bring that person into a full-time position.

Compensation and Benefits
We know that people have choices when it comes to selecting a company to work for. We aim to make the decision to work at Nigro & Nigro a financially rewarding one. We encourage all professional staff to achieve their CPA license as soon as possible by offering financial incentives, such as a CPA bonus and a higher salary structure for licensed professionals. While you are working towards that goal, we offer competitive hourly wages and overtime pay, when necessary.

All employees working more than 20 hours per week receive a benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision. A 401(k) and profit-sharing plan is also available. Employees earn a generous amount of paid time off (PTO) days to use as they desire for sick days, personal days, or vacation, in addition to 8 paid holidays. Employees may also earn bonuses for marketing, recruiting, or simply being recognized for outstanding achievements

Training
We believe that each employee is unique and makes a valuable contribution to the long-term success of the firm. We invest a great deal of time and company resources into providing the most effective and rigorous professional development available. We use outside professional development by enrolling in courses offered by the CalCPA Education Foundation, and other external providers. We provide between 50-80 hours per year of in-house training for each member of our audit team in order to meet the requirements of Government Auditing Standards. Finally, our experienced staff provide on-the-job training to newer staff members. We never leave a less-experienced staff member at a client without a more experienced associate available to ask questions.
Growth Opportunities
At Nigro & Nigro, you can expect to work on a variety of assignments. Our accounting jobs and careers can give you the opportunity to work in areas of interest such as audits, tax and accounting services, fraud investigations, and general business consulting. These other service areas also provide opportunities in industries including not-for-profit organizations, local government agencies, and commercial businesses. No matter your area of interest, we try to accommodate each employee’s professional goals.

Community Involvement
We believe in the importance of giving back and supporting the community. Over the years, in addition to working with several charitable organizations, our people have donated both time and financial resources.
Our employees participated in the Annual Murrieta Relay for Life, an event to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer. Past events have also included providing Christmas gifts to underprivileged families in our community, providing food donations to local food pantries, and sending care packages to troops stationed overseas.
